“Enjoyed my stay. Room is small and to the point. Bed was very soft and comfy. The bedding was comfy. Shower was hot and to the point. I don’t love have glass wall showers but it did the job. I thinking having the option to go tubing or kayaking out back is awesome. The lobby is simple. Easy parking. You have to check-in in person. I stayed in the pecks building and it was extremely loud cause of the highway close by. I had earplugs and even with them it was so loud. The place is basic. I’d stay……

“A great historical hotel to stay in while visiting Gruene. Loved the decor. Our room was comfortable. Loved the big shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night. Already planning to stay for a return trip to the area.”

“As the old saying goes. "You get what you pay for..." however I stayed in better places in Iraq and Afghanistan. The door could be opened with an ID card, there was no safety latch, TV didn't work, was very dirty in and out of the room. I don't blame the staff, I blame the owner and corporate figures. You see the reviews and comments but you continue to let things stay bad. I checked out early. Do better.”
